Why no mention of shaman/AM for healing? They can perform as well as a rp/zeal/dok/wp if they have high RR.

For AoE engi is worth looking at too, cant hit BW/Sorc levels (nothing can touch the BW tbh including the Sorc), but engi is up there and has much tougher defence for a new player which can feel less punishing than BW/Sorc.

From my experience whenever well known warband leaders asked in chat the past weeks, it has always been like "Need tank and heal for RvR, pst me" ;)
Apart from it the trend has been playing dps for a while, so above statement may be the result.

Some Warband Leaders even switch to a healer themself so they only need 7 other healers more. ;)

Destro is in dire need of more healers. But you can play whatever you like more really, its a game after all. Just dont go knights, there is already too many of this op machines.

Because desiring to understand exactly what is going on is "autism". Internet meme culture really does pull everyone down to the lowest common denominator.

I record all my WAR sessions and re-watch them afterwards; and doing so you realize that most folks think they know what's going on in the heat of the moment, but in actuality they haven't a clue.

They are extremely squishy compared to WP/RP, which makes them less than ideal for new players.

Wow! I appreciate the plethora of quick responses! I'm excited for the community this game has to offer, along with the gameplay!

I think after much contemplation that I will run with the zealot for my first character. I guess I'll see you all in the Old World, whether I'm missing critical heals and letting my fellow destro players die an agonizing death, or providing you order players some renown!

Cheers!
