Loss of Renown Rank

Hello there,

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I recently logged into my KotBS and his renown rank was reduced by 10 levels from 50 to 40. He is only rank 36 so he can't use the extra renown points, but the loss of the 10 renown ranks was unexpected. I was just curious if there was a bug or if this was intentional. Character name is Candlestik.

Hey,
after the last friday there was a bug with the new rvr system.
As a side effect some renown gains were out of control.
I think at one BO in Eataine some people could gain multiple renown levels in a few minutes (that is what i heard).
Or when I was in the Shadowlands for like 5 minutes to make pvp, I got 25.000 renown gain on the lock as a level 50, so you see there was something wrong with the system.
The new system was deactivated for some time and is now back on and fixed I suppose.
As a result people lost some renown levels, wich is of course not pleasent if you gained them rightfully, but hey, its an alpha server, so such things might happen!

Ah I wasn't aware of that. People taking advantage of a bug screwed the rest of us. It was only this toon that had the renown reduced, so it doesn't seem that what you mentioned was what caused it. That really sucks, I was really happy with my renown.

Just play on and regain the renown back , nothing you can do about it.

And not one was abusing on purpose there was a bug people were probably playing and yes if you were at a bo and got 25k for example that would have just shocked you but all of us would have kept recapturing that bo let's be honest but is not like people knew there was a bug and were abusing it by not reporting it.

If you gained those 10 renown levels during that time-frame, then that was not intentional. They didn't simply wipe out renown ranks randomly.

For the record I was playing that day but we were trying the hard pq so I myself didn't get any renown and if they reverted my character rr was intact so yeah seems they only removed the renown from the people that gained them from the bug?

I lost 6 rr on my wp for the reset I was 46 now 40 no way did I go up 6 rr in one weekend.

I fully understand the concept of an alpha state game. I started the thread because I was unaware of the bug/roll back of renown. I wasn't on the game when the that bug occurred. The renown ranks I had on the character were earned over several months of rvr. I suppose I just have to re-earn them. It is what it is.

i have right issue, need some gm to check that.
i wasnt trolling BO's in Eataine (i wasnt even there, when i logged in the battle was in Caledor and moved to DW and after i logged out.) i was 46 rr from around 2-3 weeks and why i get reduced my renown rank too ?

Before friday i had my rr on the same state as 47rr or 46 i remember i get 47 with my guild in dragonwake before lock and i logged out.. in thuesday i had 46 and after friday i had 47. is there any possiblity to get my totally legit lvled renown rank back on my Blackguard ?? his name i have in signature. Please help. Thanks.

Here can u see i have Lordling title just with 2 tactic slots. I dont have any other evidence i dont take pictures of every renown rank ding. Is there any chance to check back my renown ranks leveling ways ?
