I just made my account as well and having the same issue.

Similar issue here. New member, so new account.
Yet looking at the stickies I came across this:

"Wrong Password/Username
- This happens when you use numbers or special letters like russian letters or for example: á à â. Change your password (8 digit seems to be fine. It may take some days before working with login server) or create a new account."

So I guess that unless this is a new error, we'll have to wait until login server restarts, no? Hopefully soon, but I'm sure devs are doing their best to let us all run around and scream WAAAGH! soon enough.

We've made a major update yesterday on the website/forum. This might be a side effect of that. I'm looking at it at the moment. I'll post again here when it'll be clear.

I have been having the same issue. I have reset my password 3 times, all without special characters and without numbers. Still no luck. The read box hasn't had any effect either, so just stumped.
