Not able to conect (Blank black box)

the black blank box and then the authentication fails sounds like it is a timeout and could be WiFi related.
Just to be clear, is the blank black box the in-game World Server login dialogue window or is this another window running along side warhammer?

Could you be able to patch cable the laptop directly into your router, take that link out of the problem?
Have you recently changed isp?

The box is the in-game login dialogue, just on the right part of the screen.
Well I could try to connect the laptop directly to the router to see if it solves the problem, but is not useful for everyday playing as the router is in the living room next to the TV and are no tables nearby. I’ll try anyway to see if it helps me log in. I haven’t changed isp, not as far as I know at least, and I don’t think any of my roommates has.

I connected my computer to the router and it instantly worked! I’m relieved there’s a way but now I wonder if there’s any way to connect first attempt without plugging the router cable to my computer. Anyway thank you so much Nibbles, you’ve been more than helpful!

Well I'm trying to connect with the laptop literally next to the router using wifi but it doesn't work... Maybe I can only get that much signal with the cable, I don't know

With WiFi there could be lots of signals in your vicinity, a cable ensures there is only you and its at a constant stable rate, if you continue to get black box on WiFi and cable solves this then something to consider to get connected each time without the troubles, and will most likely reduce lag spikes once your in-game as well
