depends on you communication skills. hanging around with group of friends you can play even a dps runnie.

But most of the day, yes, you wont be able to find a group as a lowbie wh. and when you reach high ranks, you will not need them actually.

I personally think WE is stronger/more useful than WH in group play due to incoming heal debuff. Yes, WH has it too, but almost no one runs it, because you'd lose too much vital stuff like BAL and the Inquisition mastery path just sucks. Also, WE in suffering/carnage rips through tanks like through butter, which is tad annoying, especially with inc healdebuff.

I thought this was mostly team based, is it possible to solo?

personaly i solo'ed since we had t1 here. i run WE for most of the time and had like 40k+ kills, have to say being a decent solo wh is a much more trivial thing. You have Repel Blaspemy, that destro classes cannot just ignore, you have Bal dealing **** ton of dps to lonestanding destrro squshies, it cant be cleanced with cw or defended aganist now, so the WH is pretty simple and effective soloer as for now.

of corse any decent competetive group setup will replace you with wl, cause wl is more bursty, more mobile, more tanky and has 1.5 armor debuff for brilliance sinergy with all the others.

dont listen to drmorddreddd, he is a well known madman

Puuuhh, a lot of opinion for such a lack of knowledge.

You dont lose BaL, you never lose BaL. The only thing you will lose is RB wich is a 1vs1 shenanigan used by Riposte abusers.
Inqui mastery has the mandatory Healdebuff and also SoD+PC wich can grant you a pretty good portion of your burst.

Also, WE has to decide between HD and PA, because leaving out IP is no option, or you need atleast RR60 to spec all and you sit there with a gimped spec.

In fact WE/WH is one of the most balanced mirrors in the game (one of the very very few). Each one of them has an edge in a different scenario.

That's what I'm saying. WH is better for solo, WE is better for group. And yes, you lose BAL if you want the heal debuff AND all other must-have stuff like crit tactic and magnus. You have Career Builder to prove me wrong.

The fact is that against any group that is comparable to yours in dps output and skill the witch hunter starts to become a liability due to its required positional attacks aNd lighter armour. In a trading scenario you are a fantastic target due to your lower mitigation, and because focusing you denies your class the opportunity of getting the most out of its positional requirements.

Something i have been toying with though since the changes in dot defence, is a medium to high disrupt build that runs vindication a single magus aoe dot does little damage and could provide you with constant disrupts potentially making your damage very nasty.

that is theoretical for now at least.
