Hi,
What`s your opinions about incoming Ryzens including integrated GPUs?
Can we expect them being able run RoR in 1080p in playable way?

I would be skeptical of an AIO CPU/GPU being able to run any MMOG without any sacrifice to frame rates or throughput. That said, I found thisTelperien wrote:Hi,

If it is truly a "lightweight mobile processor", I doubt it would work for RoR.
Here's some info from user "little_me" on Tom's Hardware:

Later generation APU's will but the current ones wont.
That would mean that you need somekind of graphics card to boot up the system while waiting for the rx480
As for the intel vs ryzen, supposedly Intel is pretty same on performance, Ryzen will win in workstation use and in threaded applications like rendering and/or image processing.
At the moment in games, where they kind of max out at 4 threads (most of them) it offers no real benefit.
I guess we will all have to wait and see, but IMO you're better off with a dedicated GPU.
Re: New Ryzens with IGPU
To a certain extent GPU doesn't matter at all in this game, I'm quite certain that modern integrated GPUs will run this game just fine. I remember playing this game back in the day on my shitty school laptop, the difference was neglible to my old 7970.
Edit: Might also add that the difference between the 7970 and a 1070 TI is relatively small, even when the upgrade was paired with a full upgrade of the system. Just to add some background to that first sentence.

Have anyone got/played/tested new Ryzen 5 2400G yet?
After selling out rocks hardware I left with g4400, msi B250 Krait mobo and 8 gigs ddr4 ram, so I think again about switching to AMD platform.

Re: New Ryzens with IGPU
I am about to order Ryzen 5 2400G + Asrock x370 Fatality X.
Any info about possible issues running RoR with integrated GPU?
Will it even handle RoR?

Go for asrock ab350 to save money, with that budget cpu you don't really need x370 mb.Telperien wrote:I am about to order Ryzen 5 2400G + Asrock x370 Fatality X.

Re: New Ryzens with IGPU
I picked that particular x370 mobo cause of decent Audio chipset (alc 1220 + DAC) for my Beyerdynamic DT 990 250ohm Pro headphones.Loans wrote: Go for asrock ab350 to save money, with that budget cpu you don't really need x370 mb.
Thats one of few mobos that have DAC.
Besides I prefare spend more on better mobo with good features to lay a base for a time proof platform.
I owned z170 fatality k4 for 3 years and I was very happy with it.
The only concern I have is Ryzen 5 2400G will handle RoR with atleast 60 fps (outside warband battles ofc) in 1080p or even 1440p.
I own no GPU for now.

I think you will have no problem , the integrated graphic card is good!Telperien wrote:I picked that particular x370 mobo cause of decent Audio chipset (alc 1220 + DAC) for my Beyerdynamic DT 990 250ohm Pro headphones.Loans wrote: Go for asrock ab350 to save money, with that budget cpu you don't really need x370 mb.

Re: New Ryzens with IGPU
Like I planned, I got myself Ryzen 5 2400G with Asrock x370 Gaming X mobo + nice 8 GB Trident 3200 ddr4 ram. Unfortunately with the process of migrating files I deleted wrong WAR folder (deleted one I used with all addons and settings + screenshots and left stock WAR folder
) so was able to run default WAR with 1440p monitor.
So, game runs much better then I expected, avg FPS sits above 70+ combat is 50+, WB vs WB def keep with oh shinny preset gets decent 25-30+ fps
Later when I`m done with all addons and settings I`ll post some benchmark video.
Tl;dr
Ryzen 5 2400G can run smoothly WAR up to 1440p without dedicated GPU.
So if ur planning update ur rig and cant afford real GPU at current market prices Ryzen 5 2400G is a way to go.
