We're also all forgetting that in order to play Slayer, the superior mirror, you have to play Order.

And no one wants that low of a level of self respect. Playing hard mode on the faction with inferior mirrors is more fun for those looking for a challenge.

If you like to take easy victories, play Slayer. If you want to earn your win, play Choppa.

Running a Slayer you have a list of threats in your head, kiters on the top. I have never worried about a Choppa.

I must be aweful, gotten my ass handed to me by few Choppas consistently.. ( Gromer)
First RR90 Slayer working towards the top of the mountain.I still solo, still run riposte.

Exceptions to every rule. A really good, high renown, well geared choppa would knock my teeth out.

Just not run into many, luckily

"Classes are what players make out of them" one of the devs said that. When choosing between two classes that are so similiar (in playstyle) and you are absolutely going to stick with this class from A-Z, I think the golden rule applies....

Pick the one, that you think, looks cooler.

Was it hte same Dev that designed the original SW (that was remade from scratch for how useless it was... seriously a 40/40 eng in annhi had better dps than a 40/70 SW in warlord... tested cause I thought it couldn't really be that bad... but it was...)? or the one that designed original DoK/WP as melee healer only and had to add tome/calice one month after release in order to make them resonable only to later nerf their AoE heal by 40%? or the one that tought stackable GTAoE with 2-3k damage per tick fired out of los was a good idea (until a few BW/Sorc started uploading video of 3 player killing full WB without the opponent being able to even see them)? or maybe the one that designed original citadels without thaking into account what 1k+ player with phisical interaction can do to a server when gatherd in a single room?

As you can see using the words from a DEV from WAR is not one of the wisest thing to do... especially when it comes to classes and balance ^^'

that said... a player that know his class and have a good amount of experiene on it can win when facing the "better version" of his class played by a less experienced player that only trash other people based on his more powerfull skills without truly learning how to use them to their best... but what happen when 2 player with similar level meet and one of the 2 have better tools at his disposal? the answear is quite simple ^^

Bro I was quoting torq...
"Classes are what you make of them."
I don't know if we're talking about the same dev but if you think it's okay to say all those things about ROR staff, well...

As for the huge rant about SW and Engis, I think the play style is different than that of a choppa and a slayer (they're the exact same mirror) but I'm not here to argue; I'm here to say if OP really wanted to play a choppa over a slayer the difference in the classes (playstyle) is very small and if he can't choose picking a class he thinks is aesthetically more pleasing might not be a bad idea in the long run.
Spoiler:
I'll quote devs (the new devs and the old devs! Haha jokes) all I want! They brought us the game we can play currently and if you are an active player of such game you should have an ounce of respect/appreciation because without those people you couldn't play the game you are here complaining about currently, at least that's the way I see it. Be thankful for what you have because you might not have it at all.
