Can't remake character?

I have checked the armory thing and no one has the name. Another character I made a few days ago is showing too, even though I haven't logged in with it yet. So, what I'm getting at there is that technically it should be showing up if someone had taken it (I'm guessing?), which it doesn't appear to be so (though there is a similar spelled name, but not how I spelled it). The only other thing I can think of is that maybe it was later added to a no-name list because of NPC's with the name (honestly don't know if there is or isn't, but I'm guessing there would be such a thing, especially for popular Warhammer names that could be in use, like Karl Franz or something), or something of the sort? I mean, I did make the character awhile back (maybe a year?), so it wasn't a recent thing. Perhaps it has something to do with being such an old character? No doubt a lot has changed since then.

My advice would be to wait for the next server restart. Theoretically, it would be available from the last server restart, but always possible due to initialisation that the server still retains the name upon restart.

Usually Fridays late evening (for me, as I'm from the UK) the server restarts for a patch if one is scheduled. But hotfixes can happen.

TL;DR: Wait for next server restart.
