Grayed out Connect, Red Web/Yellow Login Servers

Sorry for another one of these posts The connect button is grayed out, and the web server square is red, and the login server square is yellow. I have done the cmd prompt resets in the sticky, however it did not work. I wish to get this game working, what can I do?

Try adding both the ror launcher and war.exe to the exception list of your anti virus and firewall settings. Check google for guidance on how to.

hmm I added the RoR launcher and War.exe as exceptions to my windows firewall, but to no avail (still greyed out). any other ideas?

Also, concerning the unchecking of Read only to the warhammer online- age of reckoning folder and all its subsequent files, whenever I do that and check again to see if it worked, the box remains checked as Read only. Could this be the issue?

Also it should be noted that I did just download the game =o

You may have to try using a VPN (Virtual Private Network). Many players use it, either by choice or necessity.


There's many around, but I've only had personal experience with Tunnel Bear.

I download Tunnel Bear. How might I use it in this context? Is there a particular country I should connect to?

No problem. Try connecting to the server in game with the VPN on and then turn it off once it's connected. You will need to log in, in game again but it should bypass the authentication process.

I know of a few players that have had to do this process.

I had the similar problem. Any time when I wanted to play game I got an error that I have no permission. Then I started to use proxy server, in particular this one https://buy.fineproxy.org/eng/ . The internet speed is great and no lags for now. + no one can steal your personal information.
