FIrst of all, thanks to those who set up RoR. I played as a Blackguard named Aeneas on Volkmar server ages ago. I stopped playing in late 2010 when the game became (for me) a tired RR grind that wasn't worth the monthly fee. After having played SWTOR (for years) and GW2 (for about 10 minutes) I never found, nor read about in my PC gamer subscription, a similar, great mmorpg PvP experience that this game had. And, when I recall checking back to see how this game was doing in late 2014 or early 2015, I was disappointed to see that it was gone since 12/2013. When I poked around online recently to see what PvP mmos are out there, I read about Camelot Unchained, which sounds promising for PvP, but who knows when it will be released. And, some of those articles to my pleasant surprise mentioned this resurrection of WAR. Thanks again for doing this.
For now, I will spend some time back here in RoR. Unlike 2008-10, I am now married w/kids so my play time is limited
I am happy to join a guild but please consider me a casual player at this point.
I don't think I want to do the Blackguard thing again... back in the day that class was at the bottom of the PvP tank ladder. I've made a Swordmaster and a Zealot and will start leveling those here and there. I don't really care which faction I join; I am happy to help the one with less people, though I am leaning towards the SM since I did Destro last time.
