Levelling magical salvaging

Hi there,

I am trying to level Magical Salvaging on my toon, but i have experienced a huge reduction in the skill up rate lately.
I am 155 and I am salvaging proper items (lev 33+). Also I am not crit failing all the time so I should get more points than I am getting at the moment (4-5 points out of 40 salvaged items).

Any hint? Any known bug?

What level of ur character?
I just 1 day up to 145 salvage
just farm the mobs level*5 = salvage level
after 145
U just do T4 sc or Scalvage to get 39lv green gear
from 145 salvage 39lv green gear until 200
me 1 day 145 then 2 more days to 200
not hard

Remind u one more thing. Do salvage with main character because u will salvage the item from Conq set or Dominator. I think only main can have extra med or emblems do it

The thing is that I had like 60-70% chance of skill up from salvaging 1 to salvaging 150. After 150 I noticed a reduction to 25% chance in skill up chance. I was just wondering whether there was an intended/unintended change in skill up chance after 150.
However it seems I am the only one that experienced this, so this is probably subjective.

39lv green gears are too many when u play SC or farming champions
So after 145 u just try get 39lv gear salvage & 39gear is very easy to get when u are 40lv
Since u are a sorc maybe hard for u hit the champion

u can use another for scalvage so u can have 200 curio to make better talis

any tips for low level magical salvaging ? i brought it up to lvl 26 with the figurines from the crafting vendor. After that i do have to go back to the low level areas and farm gear for salvaging or is there a better way to do it. Ah seems a bit expensive for that purpose.

Figurines till level 50. Then go back to the level of items you need/5 = the level item you need to salvage (so level 50 needs level 10 items). PQ's are probably your best bet. Once you get to like level 150 though you can use all precursor; just takes a good amount.

Thanks i will do that. AH does not seem to be an option since most items even at lower level are too expensive to level effective at least for the poor bastard i am.
