Hello.
Not sure if this is the appropiate section to post this.
So, i havent played warhammer since its original launch back then. At that time i was playing a squig herder mainly.
I got really hyped when i found out that Return of Reckoning exists.
So my questions are,
Which faction has less players?
On the factions, are tanks in demand? I was thinking about going for Ironbreaker or Black Orc first.
My plan is to go for the faction which has demand, and has less population.
Im a native german, but i dont really care for joining a german guild, either is fine with me.
For now these two questions are my main concern before starting out.

Re: New Player got general questions
Population changes pretty dynamically. For the last month or so Destruction was zerging hard, in the last week Order has started zerging hard; so pick whichever side you want to play more and go for it (or be a cross-realmer and chase AAO).
Tanks are in less demand on Destruction typically, but still appreciated, Order is always in need of true tanks and not loldps tanks.
Plenty of german and non-german guilds on the server; check out the Guilds Sub-Forum to find one to your liking or check /5 chat channel in game.

Since nothing prevents you from playing alts on both sides, most people play both sides hopping from one class to another. Population changes day after day, well, to be honest you can have massive population changes even from one hour to the next as people from different timezones log in and out or decide they don't like playing this or that realm during that time.
Both sides have a vast variety of guilds for all kinds of players and playstyles.

Welcome back to the game.
As for a Black Orc, I don't know exactly who they are, but lately I have seen an increase in "all Greenskin" groups running around out there. I recall fighting recently in TM against an entire warband comprised of various greenskin types, and it looked like they were having fun. I am sure someone on the Destro side could point you in the right direction.
As stated that fluctuates over time. I agree with the sentiment pick the one you believe you will have the most fun with.Wandersmann5 wrote:Which faction has less players?
Here you have two good options. If you choose an Ironbreaker, the Bitterstone Thunderers is a great group to be a part of. They do love themselves all stuff Dwarf.Wandersmann5 wrote:On the factions, are tanks in demand? I was thinking about going for Ironbreaker or Black Orc first.

That's what I did, leveled a load to 16 on each side, picked the one I liked the feel of and re-rolled it to 1 to level in pvp/rvr using the money earned on my testers to give my selected main a decent start.Wandersmann5 wrote:Thanks for the input guys.

Here it is, your chance to see something of the Old World. Strange new places, new dishes, and new ways to kill that grobi scumm!
