Lockup/crash forces PC reboot

Had this in bugtraq but was advised by 'Grimmer that BT is for ingame, not crashes. If anyone has seen something like this before, please advise:

Can login AOK. Then, anytime from 15 sec to 5 min later, game locks with flat beige screen, then reboots PC. Not even CTD, but a full reboot is forced by the lock; no input from me possible. Reminds me of the old General Protection Fault type errors, but those were supposed to be gone as of NT. Ofc, not fully gone.

Have there been game updates to client files? I had latest launcher.

Only difference on my end is new connection device. Have been using phone tether as cannot get landline or dish connection here, and it worked on previous phone, tho I had somewhat limited use of it. Now had to get new phone and everything else other than this game tethers fine, but RoR locks and force reboots my PC every time.

Could loss of connection in RoR lock up PC to extant that it reboots? Most games, that would just CTD.
