Well there would need to be serious rules drawn up that any trolling over duels would result in ban.

Half the dueller would be banned in a week as thats all it for.

Who said anything about a ban?it's ridiculous.

No other successful MMO apply ban to duel players,and they still exist,compare to WAR.And why would they?Because some player would insult the other by calling him "noob or L2P?" ....Also,there are a lot of trolls in RvR ,you wanna ban them too?

In other words you know exactly why people want to duel and that it would cause issues in realms.
As I said this game is about realms not your ego. Simple go play a moba or cod if you want to be around that.

What's the WORST thing a player can do after he just lost a duel?Telling the other how bad he is/how much he sucks/or L2P -and this my friend IS THE EXTREME THING THAT CAN HAPPEN....if you think some meaningless taunts from frustated player will ruin WAR,then i think you are the one who should try playing another game.
And how many times do i have to tell you? i like the WAR lore,dueling in WOW/RIFT/GUILD WARS 2 won't be the same...


So i will repet myself fot the 100x times about duels:

1)They are not balance-WE KNOW
2)They don't give anything-WE KNOW
3)There will always be players who will troll in any aspect of the game(RvR,PvE,Public Scenario,and yes duels)-WE KNOW
4)The last one and the most important -IT'S FOR FUN AND ONLY FOR FUN.....

As do you. Your clearly the cod type that has already admitted dueling is about trolling. Whats your characters names in game? Knowing if you have fallen out with people in game and just want to duel people for your ego could explain alot.

I could link you literally thousands of butthurt threads from wow forums over duels. People calling out exploits or breaking different opinions of what are dueling rules, using hearthstones etc.

It doesn't take long for these to turn into trolling threads or balance arguments. The game is about large scale realm v realm. Dueling will cause issues within realm as people call out those they are either jealous of or something said in chat can be blown out of proportion with unbalanced duels as one trolls and the other calls the game unbalanced. War is balanced to group fights. We dont need people calling for balance to duels that would ruin rvr, which some will when they lose to unbalanced classes.

Ive always hated wow one of the times Ive bothered to try that game I got to the first village to see some guy running around trolling all the new players offering duels and then messaging **** to try and get them to take the bait. Although I ignored him this gave me possibly unfairly an immediate opinion of the playerbase. Dueling is a field day for trolls and gives new players the wrong impression of this game. Its the complete opposite of the spirit of WAR. WAR doesnt need dumbing down to wow levels.

Where is the fun in unbalanced duelling?

Honestly, the last thing I would like to see is weight lent to the idea that duelling means a god damn thing in this game. There are enough idiots who either think the game was balanced for duelling, or deliberately pick classes strong in 1on1 so that they can troll with "duel????????" without giving them the opportunity to do it to their own realm as well.

The fun is, when you beat a marauder with a slayer, despite the fact that it is virtually impossible to win.

Tbh even between the same classes, there is too much luck involved in 1v1 situations to mean anything.

No dude,i said this is the worst thing that can happen,90% of tims people won't troll.But like in every aspect of the game,somebody will troll eventually(like in RvR,PvE etc...)

The fun in unbalanced duelling is being the class that is unfavoured/not as strong and coming out on top.

wow is not a **** superior game. It a dumbed down kids game for idiots who want to duel and do xvx arenas. That is NOT what war is. War is rvr. If you want wow go play wow.

90% of games now are dumbed down look at our crafting system :/
