Character name after deletion.

Hey guys I am new to RoR and I decided to delete my character because of his looks. I was only level 2 with him but now I can't rename another character the same name, even tho the other one was deleted. Is there a cool down or something for the name to go back onto the valid list? Thank you everyone in advance.

Character names are held until the server restarts. Usually on Fridays.
