Well, I will have to see it for myself or see a vid. Nothing suggest that this is possible. It's also possible players don't really understand how it works yet (like if you lost keep 3 BOs are enough to lock).

No you cant. To get one or two BOs you need to send people out of keep with destroyed doors means they never come back. And If you leave keep then its free to take. So you have only 2 options, stay in keep and lose by 5 stars or leave keep and lose it. Either way is a lose with out chances.

The lock system works OK when its equal numbers (today was a better day) but when zergs are in play the other side have nothing to answer.

I thought the only way to defend against attacks while KD was if you used a skill right before the KD such as the BG’s elite training. Should you still be able to defend while KD or is this the point of the recent change to rotating your character while KD?

The "point" of the no turning was to fix the bug that you could turn while KD/Immobd........
I get that it effected stuff like WH positional skills, I just still don’t know if it’s normal to be able to block/parry while KD which I thought might have been a reason for the no turning while KD change to alleviate it.

That was a great fix, thanks for the efforts.

Have to say few words about root component. Whenever someone gets caught with morale root, he is unable to defent his back for 10!(sic) seconds as it is now, thats a little bit gamebreaking, dont you agree?
Furthermore, i supposed rooted person cant hit anyone who is behind him, as it always was, target is out of sight, but he can! With all ranged melee and magi attacks, throwing fireballs in all 360 degrees around while been rooted is so adorable, i lold a lot these days.

And few words about stealth break on dot ticks. Ive been told the chance is 12%, and after hanging around a couple of days on WE, i believe the chance is pretty damn high. Every basic dot - Broadhead arrow, searing touch, signal flare, rune of Immolation, stone breaker, etc. has from 5 to 8 ticks, thats pretty enough to break stealth and set it for 30sec cd. Basic rotation like signal flare + inc. rounds leaves you almost zero chance to stay stealthed. WH/WE class has not the best days in RoR for a long time, by nerfing stealth its geting closer to lose the last niche.

Dot ticks itself never broke stealth. You had to be close to the we/wh to spot them, then any damage would break stealth. Applying a dot caused some set back on stealthing but direct attacks were more effective to fully interrupt stealth cast. It was impossible to go stealth in melee range, when being attacked.
Dying is no option.

The new system seems to be good from my perspective , even if the lock after keep take is a bit faster than I would personally like.
There seems to be less afk hordes and keep turtles seem less noticeable.
Look forward to when the new bag system comes out.

I wanna comment on this.
Granted I had been on desto during the weekend rvr.
I think the new system is great. You complain about 5star lock. 5star lock is great! You realize to prevent a 5star lock you only need to hold 1 bo. Its not like there is a wb at every bo, you can take a bo with 2groups at most time.

And also if the opposing realm is doing NOTHING to prevent a 5star lock it should only take 15min. I doubt a zone got to 5star in 5min but ok.

The only complaint I would say is, is the ruined keep+3bos for lock. It does go a little quick. The only way to prevent this lock is basically to recap the keep?
And also the rate at which a keep loses rank(if lose a bo or 2) is kinda fast.

All in all the new changes are great. I support 5star lock. If you can't put together a wb to hold a bo or 2, then you kinda don't deserve to prevent a zone lock. And we shouldn't have to sit around doing nothing, if you can't pull something together. And ffs pve route?!?! Cmon!!! Automatic fail right there. Lol

I think its possible to rank a keep to 5star with 3bo? But the zone will only lock once 4bo has been took.
And this is what happened, we had also had 4bos for quite some time, only lost last bo for a min, so keep kept ranking up? Then hit 5star with 3bos. We secured last bo, locked.
Maybe bug dunno

What about not losing your keep in the first place? You had your ass handed to you in keep siege and you still want to 'win'? It's technically possible, but you need great organization, players on same skill level or higher numbers AFTER you lost the keep.

You can also prevet this by just keeping any 2 BOs at all times (one of them can be the keep ruin, but doesn't have to).
