Detaunt issues

With the new patch comes the new tick calculations......fair enough

but...

Now every tick of a dot breaks the Detaunt and this will affect every caster class that uses Detaunt as the last line of defence

Was this the intention, or an accidental effect?

Obviously some dots are up to 24 seconds (a life time in a fight) with most being around 15 seconds and if you can`t use these now because a WL etc my jump you that's a big deal
