[help needed] New password

i canged my forum password recently and saved new one and all was done correctly and i logged in in this foru with new password.
the problem is: when i try input the new password into the launcher, it says invalid username or password... i gotta wait some time before password update? or i need to make another procedure to update launcher password?

Step 1. Don't change your password.

This has historically caused problems. We are password incompatible. We have a stupid limit on passwords. Our passwords do not update like one would expect.

Step 2. Simple passwords. Letters, numbers, probably less than 10. That seems to work.

It ain't secure, but whatever hampster is running security in the server room is a lazy POS. Try any funny business like ~ or ^, and he's gonna have a stroke. Poor stupid creature.

Step 3. Yes, you're probably going to wait, for some time, and we have no way to check on it. I didn't make this stuff man, I just deal with it.
