Choppa has the "least button presses"
Extreamly simple and straight forward class, 70% of the time you are just using slasha/go for da soft spot with nerfed buttons
The only hard part is proper rage management and being reliant on group support to be effective
BO vs Choppa [2H]?

Re: BO vs Choppa [2H]?
The above posters said it all about 2h BO. The "dps" way is really tempting from style and aesthetics perspective but BOs just seem to lose an awful lot of tankiness when going that way.
Although you can spec a BO to hit really hard, they prolly have the best physical burst damage potential among tanks in the game but they lose pretty much everything else with that setup.
As for choppas the class is pretty simple to play in terms of abilities and mechanics but it requires outstanding situational awareness to make it work. And I really suggest rolling one only if you're playing with friends like 80% of the time at least.
With the current state of things and the amount of babysitting a choppa needs to perform well I can't really see that many reasons to play one over a marauder -- the swiss knife of mdps.
In theory a choppa is supposed to hurt people more than a marauder but in reality a choppa barely lands any damage now that everyone is stacking armor like crazy.
As for marauder, there's quite a few of buttons to press but there's not a lot of stance dancing involved tbh.
All in all if we're talking mdps I suggest rolling a marauder/WL, they're doing well. 2h tanks — Ironbreaker, Blackguard or Swordmaster. All of these seem to have legit ways of balancing offense with tankiness nowadays.

So are BOs good with snb? Im just messing around with BO/Marauder/Choppa trying to figure out which of these classes I wanna start focusing on.
Again, this only applies to 1v1/1vX/Small Group Roaming/ and I guess Scenarios. Not interested in warband zerging type stuff. Thanks again everyone appreciate information.

Yep, BOs are way better in everything using SnB. 2h is, honestly, a complete joke. It's only redeeming quality is the looks but that's it.Drunkstains wrote:So are BOs good with snb? Im just messing around with BO/Marauder/Choppa trying to figure out which of these classes I wanna start focusing on.

Consider that even as SnB you still suffer from the issues i've described in my last post albeit less heavily.
As for small group roaming, unless you're going for a super-competitive group any SnB tank is fine.
They done stole my character's names. Can't have **** in RoR.

Don't play a BG unless you have 3 hands with 15 fingers eachDrunkstains wrote:I guess my last question would be....who presses less buttons? I hate buttons ;x

BG's abilites all feel far too situational and viable at the same to such an extent that using nerfed buttons would be a massive wate and disservice to class....Penril wrote:Or nerfedbuttons

Re: BO vs Choppa [2H]?
Well I appreciate all the comments and tips everyone. After more research and this thread Ive decided to stick with marauder. It just seems like a class ill enjoy...especially when I can pull people.
I made a new thread seeking marauder advice if anyone wants to chime in:

If you put everything in one string, yes you are right. If you have several strings so you can put those 30 skills on 10-15 buttons, you will have zero issues.
Everyone who claims NB makes you a worse player always pictures people pressing only 1 button, and never ever think of strings that have 2 or 3 skills.
