Not sure if its a problem relating to connecting to the server, but once i get to my character screen nothing shows up. the game loads up fine but as soon as i get to character screen none of my characters show nor do any other option except to exit the game

Same problem here from Hungary! Tried that VPN stuff, nothing happened! Do you guys have some login server stuff like private WoW servers? Maybe its down! >.<
