Sent back to character selection and in-game lag

Hi, I've been trying to play today but every time I try to log in to one of my characters, I'll be sent back to character selection from loading screen (with no option to switch to a different character, just my toon I tried logging into sitting there). I've also been getting random lag spikes in game even though my internet connection is completely stable.

Only thing I can think of is if you try typing /stuck twice during the loading-screen. You wont be able to see what you're typing but it'll still register.

This has been happening to me, today, too.

Half the time I can't even get to the loading screen when I try to log on.
