New Launcher Issue?

I have been looking through the forums and seeing if anyone else has had this issue but I can't find it anywhere. Anyways I get the box that says AN ERROR OCCURED... and it says the following.
Data.myp:

Also something else I'm noticing is every time I open properties I shows that my folder is read only even though I change it.

Issue solved, that version of directX wasn't installed correctly, I had just downloaded the installer not actually installed it.
