New Player returning from 2007!

Greetings all,

First of all, I wish to thank all the individuals involved in keeping this game alive. I used to play in 2007 back in beta and official launch.
I left the game back in 2010 but now 7 years later I always wondered If we could relive those precious memories of playing Warhammer online at the stage when it was freshly launched. After a few clicks I found this server and after all those years I finally logged in today for first time. What an exciting moment it was logging in, almost like the first time all those years ago. Also, I simply love you guys kept the content for now at same stage when it was first launch. So let me just say thank you again for giving this game a second chance and giving us WaR veterans chance to play it again!

So far game works great and I will obviously report any bugs or issues I see. However, I wish to ask more technical questions:
- I am in NA and noticed the server is EU. Is there a NA server? If there isn't, is the game still playable during pvp/sieges or is ping too high?

In addition, its been a while since I last played so I would love to join with an active (preferably PVP) legion/clan to refresh my gameplay memory and have great time in RVR.

Server latency is quite good for NA, but their population is not nearly as large as EU. You'll have the best experience playing during EU times. NA tends to stick to Scenarios as a result, although there's usually a warband of activity in the T4 lakes at night. Lots of things are working, lots of things are still being worked on. Search the bugtracker before you make a new report of something broken, it might already be listed.

Thanks for you reply! Indeed I am currently on EU and so far so good. However, when looking at server list, I didn't see any NA servers. The only server i could choose from is Martyr EU. Is there something i must download or click to access NA server as well?

It's all on the same server. We're only running one.

If needed I do have a super server that I run off Florida State University that we can use, it's totally legal and under my control and use. It's for a project they agreed to =D it's also my server and my budget so I can do anything I want with it.

I even have a server at my house thats 100mb/s down and 25mb/s up that we could run operations from if needed.
