I find the class pretty fun to play for no other reasons then its an Orc. It can deal out some serius damage due to the Berzerk mode of its mechanic. But utilizing the mechanic as it was designed to be used doesn't work very well.

I use ini tallies to get 300-310 or so. Quick escape 1(10pts), max dodge/disrupt(20pts), and (10pts) parry + dual wield (CW1 is also an option)

You need to pop in and out of melee to survive and use aoe finisher + charge or flee. Don't forget M1 shield, heal potions and snare break.

Most of all accept being #1 target of order dps and respawning frequently.
Yeah, I do get that, always seem to be the 1# target for the damage train and basically no chance against premades who call targets. Is the Longer and Stronger tactic even worth for the small amount of healing? I have seen that is not very good.

No it is quite bad but I need it :/

Like I wrote solo you simply cant stay in for long (you kite out and it heals you a bit)

The only thing helping vs a premade is bring one yourself :)

A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

they work a little better solo than choppas simply due to destro having far less rdps goobers. you can actually make it to the fight before being blowed up more often

in build they're slightly less mental than choppas, overall more conservative, but they're still berzerkers

For solo I would take "Wot Rules" over "Red Goes Faster" because in a fight 1v1 you usually wont survive after dropping rage cause it means the fight has already turned against you. Coupled with "Longer and Stronger" you usually off set 10-20% of damage in the fight if you can get to berserk before engage. So Fling dem Axes at pets, turrets, in Tor Anroc jump in lava before going mid etc etc

I resent that statement. Melee DoK doesn't "need guard" but it definitely needs a guy that can swap guard lol.
