Pop down, down fast!! =(

Hello dear players, RoR addicts!

First, I'm sorry for my English!

Friends, what's happening to the server? I mean, the players who populate it?

This is a healthy debate, I would not want to see more of the same, lack of respect and trolls.

It is a fact that the Devs are always surprizing us with news and some good improvements, but some points should not be very pleasing to the players. It's been a long time since every day fewer players are online.

We can not say that these players are already equipped with the new set t4, and by the reports inside the game is exactly this new set that have been causing the emptying of the server.

From what I've been picking up on information, players tire easily when the system requires a lot of time to run ... many of them did not like the system that disfavors in very low peak times.

I believe that this system that requires many players and especially those with experience in T4 is making it easier for you to create discord between Guilds, Alliances and Friends, causing the objective to constantly fail due to lack of organization and excess of ambition in achieving Subjulgator and Conquer Set .

There are advocates of this system, but I find it unlikely that most people like the way it is. I like but I think it should be better adapted to the reality of the players profile:

Parents of family.
Worker.
Student.

Ty a loot!

I used to play this game from 6 to 8 hours a day.
But I don't play it anymore, since a few days.

There is a few reasons to this:
-I'm tired of the constant order zerg in T4. This is just not funny.

-BiS gears have a price that is way over the top imo, especially for an undead game.

-The current RvR system is boring. Waiting all these minutes for a BO to cap is boring. Maybe it will not be that boring if order would at least try to cap it back, but it seems that they don't wanna fight (unless they're in a zerg and outnumber destro), which is odd in a PvP game.

I'm now trying Tree of Savior, and even if I have no idea what I'm doing, building my class and doing PvE is more fun than RoR at the moment.

You only need to wait 5 minutes at an BO if your side is zerging on one BO. ;)

And personally the focus is currently heavy on SCs as it is the set I need for my chosen class.

the new meddalion quest is an incentive to zerg btw the underdog is paying the price to try put up a fight by costantly used as +1 for the 150 kill quest. Now order is makign even more gear due to this.

Idk why ppl focus on sc , conqueror for tank and rdps /healer is much better not have it's jimp yourself; only some dd may want mix sets. Even tanks that go offensive would just do better by go 5 conqueror and 1 domi and then go full off in renown.

I cannot for the life of me put down that many hours to play a day, even in a week, so it stays fresh and enjoyable.
Playing anything for 6-8 hours a day will get you burnt i reckon... what keeps this game fun is the option to do scenario's or run about in a warband for a while. If it fries you, change the routine ?

I remember getting fried in vanilla after running the zones for hours on end, nowadays theres too many chores around the house and the ol' ball and chain (she doesnt visit there forums) to keep me in line ;)

The statement that it should be adapted to ppl with said profiles i strongly disagree with, i work fulltime, dont have kids and cant find enough time to play. So im always hungry for WAAAAAGH when i get home from work and finish the daily chores.

The grind is to much over all. People being forced to stay in the low tiers where the action is completely garbage. It's harder to level now, getting Conquer gear requires you to nerd out in 1 zone for hours, and yet the chance to get the gear is so small. The medal drop is so bad, and the prices for gear like Conquer/Dominator and that 2 piece set is just unbelievable. There are so many people complaining about it lately, and even some of my in game mates stopped playing, which is why i also gave up on it.

We also lost some good player over the last many months, which contributed a lot to the game and gave me the motivation to play.

The over all problem here is: The Grind. What could solve it in my opinion?

1. Remove the experience block, or what ever you guys wanna call it. I understand you want people to get the low tiers active, but it is not gonna happen. People wanna play in the end tier. Forcing them to play in low tiers spending a huge amount of time getting to the high tier, will make most of them quit IMHO.
2. Bring War Crests into the game. Make em drop as x5 pack. So all gear like RvR/Sc gear can be bought for War Crests. In this matter getting geared is easier over all, and the prices should stay where they are. Winning scenarios, killing players in ORvR and Scenarios, taking keeps, locking a zone, should give War Crests. Dont force the people to play ORvR so they can get their conq gear, if that is not what they wish to do.

I am sure i could pull a few more ''ideas'' out of my not so fancy looking sleve, but this is my 2 cents. I wish to finish off saying some of us dont play have 10 hours a day to play, some aren't playing a regular 6 man/Warband/Duo/Trio.

I am thankful for the time the Gms/Devs are putting into this project, but overall i see a downfall in the population. I wish you guys good luck with it.

Many people like playing smallscale, but the game punishes you for playing the WRONG classes in smallscale, because apparently some classes that "barely perform in 6v6" are okay when they roflstomp people in 4v4 or 2v2 or 1v1.
So oops, most smallscale people either roll better classes or simply Quit; and then people start wondering "where have all the players gone".
For certain classes, they game can enjoyable whether 24v24 or 12v12 or 6v6, or even smaller fights. But for others, they have less broad niches, and mostly fill the role of cannon-fodder because of continuous imbalances at smaller scale action.

And as for T4 grind and killstealing; there is no fun in it. Why play something that is not fun at all? The PUG warband that does the heavy lifting and enables a keep siege and a zone lock quite often simply walks away with limited rewards, and the boisbands who mostly focus on farming soloers and lowbies walk away with best rewards and highest medal counts. Cool game design there.
