BLOODBATH - AM/Shaman experimental changes
Re: BLOODBATH - AM/Shaman experimental changes
Dont see any reason to disable it to be honest. Kind of everyone agrees that it's overperforming in the current meta. So people will need to figure out how to beat it. Cant think of a better opportunity than a 6on6 event to test out some of the ideas.

I'm not even sure thats it's even established that Sham/AM overpeforms. I mean thay have the worst dmg mitigration of all the healers and have to compensate with mobillity and burst healing. Also alot of the healing can be disabled by stacking Disrupt and have tanks use HTL aswell as using Landmines/Demonic Infestation to cripple the mobillity/output.

Well being able to heal your group up to full from 0 with an ability that isn't affected by heal debuffs - outgoing or incoming - every 5 seconds (spammable with a WW bot) seems a bit overkill, but I digress! It will be allowed, and Cimba made a good point.

Re: BLOODBATH - AM/Shaman experimental changes
It should be allowed. Unless the .ab ex is going to be removed at some point in the future, why wouldn't you? WP/DoKs wont have their AoE detaunt w/ book/chalice, engi/magus will have their "new" stuff, and all the other changes will be input. Why single out the AM/Sham simply because you can disable their changes?
As previously stated, this would be the "best" area to actually put into practice and test out the AM/sham changes. And I don't believe they are entirely OP. Most of the specific examples I have seen, can be easily explained as just a very good player/team who would achieve that lvl regardless of Healing Class chosen.
I think it'd be slightly strange if the .ab ex was disallowed... But doesn't look like the Damned has a group for it, so meh.

Re: BLOODBATH - AM/Shaman experimental changes
The current AM/shaman FOTMness is really nothing unusual or new when it comes to WAR/RoR, some healing class will be always slightly ahead of some other one.
Back on live DoK/WP formed the core of any group to their OPness, and no one thought of banning them from 6v6 simply because both sides abused them equally to sideline other healers. (back when no one wanted to run with shaman/AM)
Now its the other way round, which is IMO very ironic.

I like the use of "slightly" here ☺Aurandilaz wrote:The current AM/shaman FOTMness is really nothing unusual or new when it comes to WAR/RoR, some healing class will be always slightly ahead of some other one.

They also become "slightly" the worst healer in the game as soon as you add obstacles that block LoS. Maybe instead of doing it the standard 6v6 in open terrain a location with some terrain might do the trick.

If one begins to remove this or that skill on a class why not remove the abusive distance of the engineer or the ponce of the white lion that were different on WAR too. Experimental changes were made with the aim of balancing and making sure to send out those who were against. Now we are discussing a change present for a while and that is not so balanced ... no comments ...

Even that premades actually think about banning a class or certain skills from a (numberwise) balanced fight can be considered a wake up call for those in charge of balance.
By providing evidence of capable players unable to deal with the lifetap madness one might be able to get the long due adjustment of shaman and especially am (https://github.com/WarEmu/WarBugs/issues/9284).
So yeah, everything should be allowed so the videos can be considered feedback for future balancing attempts.
