New player looking for direction.
Greetings, I have never played warhammer before but have decided to give it a try, I've played most popular MMO's (Asherons call, DAoC, WoW) twords endgame content, I'm more focused on the pvp aspect of games than anything else, that being said, I'm coming into WAR a complete noob I know nothing of the game or the mechanics, I'm looking for someone who can point me in the proper direction of this game and maybe some people to play with, currently undecided on faction/class

If you want to play order, sword and board tanks are always needed, same with healers.

What types of classes did you excel at in previous games?

All the classes are strong just try them all and find what you like. This game is really team oriented, it's hard to solo que a Battleground and win so find a guild and make friends. If you are the solo type I would go Witch Elf or Witch Hunter because you can play the hide in the shadows and pick people off game.
Either way welcome and enjoy the WAR.

I have to agree with the poster above about the Witch Elf. My main is a Chaos Magus, but the Witch Elf is sneaking up on me in terms of interest. Now I have to choose the play style I feel like on a given session. Thanks, Witch Elf!!! *smiles*
Did you know that William Harrison's "The Theologian" was published in 1965?
