Your best WAR moment

It would have to be wiping the full Drow warband in city with 8 Run Like Hell, We loaded into a stage 1 with just us ( RP Molf, WP Straitaid, Slayer Funick, BW Zarbix, 2 Kotbs Tankbeards and Logo, and 2 WH) hoping to get a decent fight. We find a whole warband of destro and decide why not lets stay and fight. Make a bomb group with the BW and slayer. The two WHs, myself and magicclown go to the off party and hed to mid. WHs go up top so we can come in from behind and the 6 stay at the gate. As they bunch up on the steps me and magic open up on heals and rip through 4-5 real quick before and the rest of the group melts the healerless warband. They came back and wiped us but we stayed and wound up out killing them like 140-20 by the end of stage 3. Lots of good times with RLH.

Lolz a FULL Drow wb you say...keep on dreaming mate. We have never had a full Wb, maybe 2 groups at most and most of us would of been on lowbie alts against ya full rr100 zerg no doubt.

Anywho, my fav moments was killing Tklees over and over again, got boring after a while though.

don't know who you are and didn't mean to offend in anyway. Just telling the story how I remember it. Maybe it was 2-3 groups of Drow and a few pugs, doesn't really matter at this point was over 2 years ago. And Im glad you got so much satisfaction out of killing me, always nice to be of service.

Lol no offense taken Tklees, in actual fact it was fun having tough fights in the city against the good Order groups, win or lose. I miss WAR immensely, I have a lot of great memories from playing WAR, to many to list here. There has been no other mmo like it since WAR went offline.

I was, initially, doubtful about WAR. Played 2 or 3 trials, but wasn't sure.
And when "endless trial" was being implemented, all zones became accessible for a several days. Even flight-master was unlocked for a day or two. Due to an oversight, I think.

So, I made epic quest through all Empire and Elf zones. Dwarfs&Greens are too messed up for a low level BW.

That journey made no doubts left, because WAR's visual style is still unmatched.

Wars setting will never be matched. GW made the most darkly humourous high fantasy setting ever with warhammer.
Shame layzors and pandas are more popular to gamers.

First time through city sewars, first time through and completing LV, pushing to the city in 1.2, Warlord kill, King Kill (later)...

Epic BW aoe keep defense on the stairs which happened so often..
Fortress defenses in 1.2ish - opposition
Fortress takes were so hard that when completed was quite the effort of at least 3 or 4 warbands + all the small groups

On my Chosen on Skull Throne (US) The Leader of Vendetta and his officers were having an off day where we would just goof around in RvR lakes. At one point one of our members yelled over guild chat that Order had a group of 25 ish people running around in elf T4 swarming all the small groups. This is where our guild leader said "i want to try something" We moved to elf T4, swung around the lake to enter the lake from an opposite side, making us blind to them because we dropped into the lake from behind the keep. We were with 12 to 15 people tops.

"Ok here's the strat. Scel use your damn shield for once! Our scout said the Goon Squad leader is in that group. ( i completely forgot his name) Target him. Only him. All healers, focus on Scel!. Nobody else attacks...yet. Once they swarm around him, as i am sure they will, we will pop up and everyone AE the everliving crap out of them. Melee charge down on my call, spread out and kill the healers"

That "plan" excited me, and terrified me. But oh well, if i were to die i would make sure to drag a couple of them down with me. When everyone was ready, the Order group in the middle of capping a BO, i charged down a hill, Yelling profanities at them which they could not read anyways, but sounded like fun. I found the Goon Squad leader, and started wailing into him. I got so close to death the first few seconds, i am certain i peed a little. After a few seconds i noticed the healers never got me below 50%. Every Order started attacking me and bunched up together. The few order foolish enough to go after our healers were killed mighty quickly by the small force of Destro hiding close by. Our leader yelled "NOW" and all casters started dropping bombs on the group surrounding me. The Melee Destro charged down and broke the outer ring of Order which mainly consisted of their healers being slightly outside the swarm that had me surrounded.

It seemed like it took forever, but after a little while, some order managed to get away. When the smoke cleared i found myself in the middle of a pile of Order corpses. We decided to retaliate, Growing our force with the people who were online in our 5 guild alliance and steamrolled the RvR lakes. People outside our alliance who joined in got the task of guarding the fortresses while the main force continued to push order back behind the gates of their city. We sacked altdorf shortly afterwards.

my best war moment was once in praag, where was a huge fight and i asked help for the bugged quest (the shadow of the hunter) offering some gold and i made a big crash making the battlefield to be empty and people raging at general XD

Defending the Maw with my Shammy on Praag against 20-1 odds until the zone reset. I really liked the Forts and always thought it was a big mistake to get rid of them
