Crippling strikes:
1. Is random as it requires crits
2. Only affects targets in the chosen's melee range. At times you wont be able to apply CS to RDPS.
3. Significantly reduces the survivability of the chosen
4. Significantly reduces the chosens defenses from CC. Meaning they are much more easily punted away from their guarded target.
5. CS can be cleansed
6. There is a lag time between getting to your party member and being able to apply CS to the melee train on them to reduce the damage they take.
7. Its only 25% damage reduction. That's not going to save anyone in those real "oh ****" moments.

Theory crafters love CS as it looks amazing on paper. But in reality its just not as good as that guaranteed M4.
Wow, you just completly missed the point i was trying to make. Read again pls.

Btw: Saying a debuff is **** because it can be cleansed is a dumb argument. No one would ever argue about not applying a healdebuff because it can be cleansed. Thats why the concept of "cover up" exist.

The Problem is that chosen is designed to be a 2h tank, but the defense measurement we have atm as a 2h tank are just not enough to keep you alive in a tough fight so you are forced into the SnB role. So basically Chosen has become a guard/M4 spambot with his maintool for CC (Quake) nerfed to death.

You dont see 2hander chosens in 6v6 because the M4 is better than CS. Its not the chosen's survivability while 2hander spec that holds it back. A 2hander chosen is arguably more survivable than a 2hander SM, even with WODS.

Explain and prove why chosens are "designed" to be 2hander spec? All tanks have a 2hander tree, with useful abilities and tactics, so why arent all tanks supposed to be 2hander?

The primary role of a tank is guard, so get used to guard botting.

When comparing morale pump for Immaculate Defense to Cripping Strikes, the fact that CS can be cleansed and M4 cannot is a legitimate disadvantage for CS. Thus a perfectly relevant and logical argument.

Drawing the right conclusions out of other peoples post isnt your biggest strength isnt it?
I am just responsible for what i say and not for what other people understand. All you are trying here is to prove me wrong in a point i didnt even make.

DtW, and YSMBD and tank m4 is in a very good place due to noone bothers to try and counter it, and comes to the forums and whine about Destro Morale gain, wich is pretty much the only edge Destro have atm.
