Launcher nothing happens, can't find the solution

I have the latest versions of DirectX and .net framework
I also have tried to launch the game several times without my antivirus (windows defender), does not change anything.
And except Ccleaner, i don't see any others program which could kill the launcher. I remember i downloaded, probably one year ago the laucher, and i was able to play. I did not have any problem at that time...

Well, i;m sorry then, you pretty much tried all there is to make the game work which gets me thinking that maybe reinstalling your OS is the best idea to get it going.
Maybe just do a new game download, who knows...

Thks for your help, but i don't really like the fact to let the control of my computer to a stranger (no offense ). I take care of it, and everything else works perfectly... I'm downloading a last time the files, and if it does not work, no Old World for me, it's ok

The launcher might be having issues with establishing the connection to the server so the issue might be with your connection routing, with which a VPN would help. It's not that uncommon of a problem. But you're free to dismiss any ideas as to solving the issue, naturally. Good luck!

You shouldnt give up so fast though.
Try reinstalling your OS...im pretty sure that it will work.
Anyway if you finally give up after trying every possible solution come back in the future and try again.
Hopefully the installation will be easier and eliminate any errors automatically.
