I voted No.
By the time i got my RP to T4 (with a bunch of others) i was already sick of people whining either about having low RR or getting killed by players with high RR.

Most people stay in either T1 spamming 3 spells or just grind stuff in t4 so why not make it like this:
People play t1 as it is now (no change to xp) and once they hit t2 part they can either pick to lvl via quests or jump straight to 40/40 character with basic armor sent via mail. If people decide to jump to 40/40 they would have to go to a specific part of the map (wherever devs want it) and go through training ground getting 1 ability at a time and take time to practice it on test dolls or something).

Once this change is done open t2/t3 (rvr lakes only) to t4 players so we can have fun in all the zones we loved while there was action and hated when it was a ghost town.

This would make t4 playerbase enjoy the game way more as zone difference would be a lot bigger and you would not have to repeat TM and DW all day long.

When it comes to people complaining that there would be no time to learn the game let me say this: this is not rocket science and no matter what happens, be it you lvled your way to t4 or got bumped you will get 2 shot due to lack of gear and until time you get some gear you will get used to the rotation I hope but I don't have my hopes high (I saw guy not knowing the basics of the game like int pot and int buff stacking, how objectives in scenarios work etc saying how he is a great player because he has 10 chars on 40 and 200+rr with those chars). What I want to say with this explanation is that just because you lvl for long etc does not mean you will learn how to play the game. PvP is interesting because it is evolving, no one plays the same or reacts the same way (every player does some things good and some things wrong). Learning curve starts once you get proper gear and rr (which is around 45 for most classes).

This would be my solution.

Renown ranks should never be given for free. level 32 and a set of explorers or whatever it's called gear would be best if they take that route (they wont).

Ultimate Online did this after the game was out for a long time and they were reviving it.

You could 'buy' a character already leveled to within 75% of the top level for about $19.. There was a massive influx of new players and existing players as well as people coming back.. Why? Nobody wanted to level from the lower/mid range in the game, it was boring and unpopulated. So they just sold the ability to arrive at/near the end-game for everyone that wanted to and it took off like wildfire.

Back then I brought a dozen former guildmates back who bought 75% finished toons and we started our guild back up. It was a huge success and literally every end-game zone was filled with people.

RoR needs to think out of the box here. Based on this poll, most people seem to agree! 68% voted YES in some form, with only 30% voting no.. By all accounts, that's considered overwhelming.

What will that solve? Most people are coming from live that had a half dozen or more 40's and this won't help new players through the void.. As someone that had nearly every toon to 40 in live, i have NO INTEREST in wasting time in T2/T3. I'm already bored and back to playing other games after a week in RoR because of the T2/T3 void sapping my life. I don't even have a 40 toon yet!

Why not? Do you like slaughtering people in rvr? I don't. I would rather have someone have a chance to fight back.

Devs, you said that you can do a lot more than just change xp gain so what do you think about my idea? Is this something you would ever consider or you have some other plans?

The main problem is that simply we don't have the numbers to have a live t2/3 to make the experience worth. I had to debolster around 10 times to get the first influence reward in Talabec. If I didn't have a guild to take care of me, I probably wouldn't have the two characters 40/4x I have now, while all the other toons I have are stuck in t1 for fear of the absolute apathy of middle tiers.

Some parts of what you suggested are impossible at this stage and even if it was Im not sure the team would want such a thing.

And I might add that I seriously doubt we will ever implement something that gives you a free higher level character, I sincerely doubt we will reinstitute x3 xp gain either tbh since since its removal and the t2/t3 merge there has been way more action in those tiers.

I would personally prefer more incentive for debolstering down and help the lower level tiers then to boost them up.

i would love that debolster system is somewhat automatic like you just enter the lower tier and all the scaling down is completed by itself...im guessing this is not easy work

or put in every warcamp some kind of career/renown trainer where you quickly respecialize and with no gold charged for it
