Karast wrote:Another option if you are moving out is grenade turret, and going for the knockback while moving. It can work surprisingly well, and a few firebombs / flashbang never hurts while on the go. You only need 1 stack for the cast on move so it's ideal, and when they reach the turret detonate can help too if it fires off properly.

Doesn't seem to actually work half the time ... but when it does it's nice. I wish it worked better on RoR, on live I actually used it for dps spike and it crit pretty hard.
You are right ! I switch between bombardment turret and flameturret , self destruction is indeed better with bombardment turret than flameturret

Do you need def stats as rifleman ? Even if you take ancestral armor it won't save you from a focus . If you are squishy build better use your 2nd proposal . Imo
What could save you is disarm , concussive mine , self destruction , bump or any CC on retreat use detaunt as well , -50% dmg is always better than any armor tactic
If I push for fort in Nordenwatch I need to stay alive in a bit. I find it really handy for that opening as i am pretty much always the first to arrive. I will try your suggestions. I am not having very good experiances with the detonation of the turret tho. Like Karast said it often doesn't seem to work.

@ Karast

I never use bomb turret. Will give it a try!

Self destruction always works , unless your destro target has immune . You better use buff head addon then you'll see if destro is immune and which immune your target has

Self destruct on flame turret with full damage buff has a big increased range of the knockdown. From 30 feet to 45.
That is the difference between Grenade and flame turret.

Yes self destruction gives a significant range buff with flame turret but a signifiant damage debuff and signifiant most of survivability .

Is the flamer turrent showing proper stats in character? My dodge and disrupt don't change in stats. Glitch?

Also: Elf first influence reward....I'm tinkerer bases with armor talisman. Is the +1 Reduced Armor Penetration belt better than the +12 Ranged Power Belt?

Hello , actually the flame turret doesn't show dodge disrupt buff in stats windows .

Type .getstats ingame you'll see the buff properly .

I guess your talking about t4 inf
Here the belt

It depend what you are looking for in tinkerer build ?
Aoe close qarter dps or def support tree ?
In both belt you have interresting def stats , one got wounds , init, and more resist, while the other one got toughness , armor Penetration reduction but less resist .

I'd chose ranged power if you still want to have decent dps , and for a def support build I'd chose armor Penetration reduction .

Thank you! Yes, I'm definitely more defensive support ATM. I'm not too worried about my DPS right now. I'm loving being support and anything to help me survive longer would be great. I just need enough medallions for my chest piece and I'll have full annihilator set.
