If you cant see the sense of getting some inf reward after spend all day in a zone even if your realm lose it, i have nothing more to say.

it gives small reason to join losing battle
before this implement
ppl leave orvr to do other things after 1 pointless defeat against zerg
' don't give the zerg keep bag, don't get farmed , let them pvd '
chat like these were all over the /t4
at some point dev made this losing reward
and i see no more of these talk ( or less )
and ppl join battle against zerg

In fact not getting inf reward when u lose a zone will make ppl to do more xrealm, cause only the winner side gets that reward.

First of All If u work in an orvr zone u get inf When you loose. Yesterday i got 10k renown and more than 2,7 k inf for loosing Black crag. Thats more than enough for loose or? If you give loosing faction more reward like bag rolls more renown and so on all will sit in a keep and wait. We had that IT was not good devs changed it and IT was a good change

Rewards are now based on participation in zone, so if you cross sides just to get the flip, you will get very minimal rewards.

Guys, he's talking about loser points, which are already a thing for better or worse, only many times you don't actually get the Influence it says you get. I'm pretty sure this is a bug and is being worked on.

Loser points were on live for a long time, and gave you something to fight for even if your realm was horribly outnumbered. They scaled higher if you slowed down the attacking realm. With no points for losing, at a certain point many people stopped defending when greatly outnumbered and simply queued for SCs instead. This led to empty keeps and boring doorhammer orvr.

Ideally there would be no loser points. But in this xrealming environment throwing people some points for putting up a good fight against a much larger force is probably ok for now.

To the OP. You aren't going to win this fight about RvR. There are groups of people that like it the way it is and I assure you it is probably not going to change. Most of the people who say they like RVR the way it is now spend their time in the lakes in 6 mans sometimes 2 groups, they pick off people and run supplies. They get max contribution and I don't doubt they have an amazing time doing it. Quite a few people who are upset with RvR play in warbands and have noticed that the gameplay is shifting from huge massive scale battles to short bo locks and supply runs.

My advice. You need to not post about RvR changes when there are a lot of people with a lot of friends and a lot of posts that will shut you down. Obviously if you defend for like 4-6 hours you should get a huge reward even if you lose. It was a lot of time spent trying to win. But unless you run some supplies or pick off some people while you have AAO it won't be so. As soon as you see a lake open up, run in there and take the BO's, try and be first, stay in the lake as long as you can, get a few supply runs in and find like 4-5 people to pick off afk people and rinse and repeat, do some sc's, make some food lunch/dinner but stay in that dang RVR lake. I assure you that when the rvr is over you will have a massive amount of influence/rr at the end.
