Game loads black screen on server time out :(

Hi Guys,

I have tried all the tips / stickies but to no avail. I have unticked the read only file for the warhammer folder, have all the correct files placed in the folder and I am running the ror launcher as admin. I have also tried the game with and without my VPN client but still no joy The game loads to the title screen and the box that usually says connecting etc is just blank then after about 10 seconds i get a timeout and have to exit the launcher I have no idea what else to try i have re downloaded the game , launcher and changed the settings Is there anything else i can try as I can't think of anything else any help what so ever will be appreciated

Ok It seems I have it sorted, for some reason the game doesn't like logging in from the UK, I have changed my VPN to the Netherlands and it works!

But do you have to always use the VPN now to play? I do and it's annoying because I am constantly experiencing lag.

Surely there is a proper fix to this? I can't believe that there wouldn't be.

If you have to use a VPN to play the issue is definitely not on the user end. This issue seems to be happening to a lot of people, myself included.

Yes always have to use a VPN now the game client just won't log in via my ISP in the UK. It doesn't really affect me that much tbh as Ive been paying for a VPN for a while with unrestricted speeds and some good servers, but it would be interesting if we knew what the cause actually was?

Might i ask which vpn? Im using cyberfox (i think? Or cyberfire) and it is laggy during evening even with a london server. Can rarely play smoothly.

I also tried easy-vpn .

I actually use IPVanish it is a USA based provider but after trying numerous others this one seems to be the most stable with the highest speeds ( In my situation based in the UK )
