Keep Guard NPC vs Players (lower tiers)

The following issue is valid for all tiers but let me pick an example.

Tier 3 is for players rank 16+ till 30(?).
At the lower end of the bracket player rank is boosted to 36 to reduce power gaps.
Keep guards are rank 30 champs.

I wonder whether it is intentional, that low rank players are 1-shotted by npc despite their bolster. Currently NPC totally ignore the bolstered rank and hit you with your true rank, e.g. rank 16 against rank 30 champs.

For me this feels wrong.

What is your opinion? :)

This issue is on the bug tracker but I believe the devs require client control to fix this (or it might be a very complicated fix).

I was in Avelorn on my 20 WH..and she got hit for 4k from Ghrond guards..

Is this a bad thing though? Otherwise lvl 16s could technically got farm and PL on t3 guards with their boost... but yea it's probably annoying as hell in real gameplay...

It is bad because both tiers are merged to increase population but at the same time the mentioned issue tells lower lvl players that they can't play in a given tier until their rank matches the npc rank. With enough low rank players, who are boosted to 36 and could compete in pvp, it becomes basically impossible to take a keep because the keep guards alone 1-shot most of your warband.
It is fine when the keep lord requires some coordination or even cross-guard but the fast respawning guard with absurd damage against lower rank players are a big let down. :cry:
