Anyone care to chime in on how an Engineer healing more than two different Shamans isn't OP? Something is definitely broken with the keg...

I agree with Skullgrin, I'd like to know 1.) was this what was intended with the recent Engie changes and 2.) if so, why doesn't magus have something equally over-powered? If this particular engie spec is meant to be a healer of sorts, that's a legitimately interesting idea BUT in that case (since its so crazily powerful) there needs to be a similar mechanic on magus, not some lame self-only heal like they currently have (if i'm not mistaken).

I think its great that engie is a useful class finally but those heal numbers are just a little too much imo.

I've been calling for a nerf on Bugman's Bullshit for a while now. :)

Honestly, an out-of-party AoE heal that has no counterplay whatsoever (it can't be targeted or damaged) has no business being on a ranged DPS. I hope I don't need to point out Magus has nothing of the sorts. Bullshit if you ask me.

Would engies protest if bugmans finest was considered a second pet and therefore had the same hp as their turret? Not sure if it can be made targetable currently, but that seems like a fair resolution: make it targetable.

You guys appealing for a perfect mirror are yelling into the wind. They're not the same class, they share similar trees, but definitely not the same. The Magus gets a 1500pt instant self heal/20s WND buff. Engi gets a stationary aoe 15s hot on a 10s CD. If you want a nerf, you should focus on the cooldown.

100% uptime is what makes this level of healing possible. Mind you, that's possible. Not common, not frequent, just technically possible. The vast majority of scens have actual healers that do a way better job at healing the group every 2s than a stationary HoT can do.

Bugman's Best can be made targetable, but if you want to discuss Bugman's Best, put a proposal up and poke Penril about it. I'm done making fine unilateral changes.

Funny the Squigh Herder which has been nerfed-fixed 4 or 5 times already, is doing less damage than the enginer with defensive build, and the enginer still can do 200k heals, and beat the Shaman healers.

So we have now enginers which heal better than healers, do more damage in defensive form than range damage dealers, and i am pretty sure if we could quantify the amount of dodge-disrupt and damage mitigated with theyr 4k+ armour and theyr 32% dodge-damage buff, they will be better tanks than the tanks too.

PD: (Squigh herder need a damage boost in the abilities, for recover the damage amount lost from diferent pet fixes and range nerf, and the lacking of magical-corporeal damage in theyr abilities....test yourself if you wanna see how much damage are doing DoT abilities in people, maybe you will be surprised)

That amount of healing from kegs is very rare, im guessing order had no real healers in that sc.
The reason why kegs are not great is because you have to stand within 30ft, something that in a proper sc fight is not easy, most the time as an engi with a keg you drop it and a few seconds later everyone has moved away from it, not to mention if you focus on dropping kegs every 10 secs and providing ap to everyone from your turret you are taking a hit in dps potential.
Myself i dont see why kegs need to be changed at all they are rarely amazing, it still counts as a heal and can be heal debuffed.
As for mirroring it, that makes little sense, sure magus doesnt have an aoe heal but magus as much as they are engi mirror are quite different, aegis of orange fire is better in certain situations then kegs and vice the versa.

Why not just cap it the same as Martyr's Blessing? IE, it can only affect 6 players at a time?
