what to do with cheaters?
today's scenario, ran at speed hack player under the name "****". this is not the first time whether administrators are struggling with these players?

The original game had some kind of automatic speed-hack detection system. I knew two guys - one lost his account because of speed hacking (wasn't his first violation), the other got banned for a week. I've no idea how that works and how hard it would be to bring it here, but there's such a thing. Yep

It has been discussed previously.
So far it's just alpha, so people doesn't seem to care much about cheaters, more about bringing the game back. Plus it will be difficult to do anything, because if you delete an account, that person can just make another one, and leveling to rank 10 isn't much of a problem.
I guess you just have to bear with this sh*t and try not to play when someone is cheating.

if you see someone who definitely cheat. Like Speed hack flying through the air or something else try to reach me "Sigmarpriest" IG.
You can also try to send me a privat message.

But if you don`t reach me the best way to help is making a Video from it.
When the Video is explicit we will take Action.
But at least we decide if a Video is explicit or not.

We've been discussing things that are related to this. At the moment, because our team is small, we can't constantly police the server and players.

There are some glitches in the game which can look like cheating. For now I would recommend to keep and eye, and if you see anyone supposedly cheating. Raise it on the forum.

Then get some in-game moderators, maybe? They wouldn't be part of the development team but they'd be able to warn the rest of the team or even take action themselves. Of course, you'd need to put a LOT of trust into somebody like this, but it's what most private servers do. Maybe an in-game report option could help, too.

Stop the cheaters before too late plz. Many people left the original game because of cheaters,don't left them to destroy this new great try.

Agreed. I would like a Gamemaster be able to actually move a player away in case of AFK farming for example. Send a player up a mountain somewhere if there is no reply whatsoever. Mute a player. Personally I would love a special character for it as well. Something like the below for example.



And public shaming when one of there characters logs on the gallow in Altdorf square it hangs there

People don't left it because cheaters. There were just a lot people who blame others for cheating, because the don't understand game mechanics.
