First of all - sorry for my english. This topic will be divided into categories, so you can skip to last one if not feeling much involved.
[Greeting] I heartily welcome all of those who decided to came here to help me deal with this complicated problem.
[Situation] I am a new player in RoR, but my notebook is not new at all, therefore I should be taking care to prevent its premature death, because the new one is unaffordable. I play with a minimal settings in 1024x768 resolution (1366x768 initial), but the game still runs not that smoothy as you want it to, and the fps jumps wide especially in RvR, which is the most exciting part of it. I can live with 20-30 fps, but I have noticed that with my resolution (strenched to fill the screen) you virtually can't specify anything in the fray, like distant enemy healthbars etc, so it cripples my game experience as a battle healer (archmage).
[Problem] So I came to the necessity of using addons to increase targeting and healing efficiency, probably changing the features of the default interface (like getting rid of that horrid tumor Public Quest Window). The problem is I can't orient properly amongst all of dead threads, obsolete and partial functionally addons, custom and handicraft addon development and the whole mystical turbidity of the game's client.
[Question] Please advice addons that will simplify combat UI interaction, healing and/or interface redone, that will not load to kill my decrepit notebook. If there're none of it, then help me understand how to work out this situation maybe with ability macroses?
An intricate question about addons.

Re: An intricate question about addons.
Firstly, get your addons from here: https://tools.idrinth.de/addons/ - all credit to Idrinth.
Secondly, I recommend Enemy to replace your warband/SC frames. Of the unitframes I have tried in RoR that seems the most reliable. After that anything else is optional. You can reposition/resize/disable everything in the default ui using the ingame layout editor if you do not want to risk lots of addons.

Re: An intricate question about addons.
Must have addons in my opinion:
Enemy, party/warband unit frame
Buffhead, displays your buffs/cleansable debuffs ontop of characters head
WSCT, displays damage/healing numbers in a more clean manner(this one i would maybe avoid due to performance issues)
ZMM, to clean up that horrific standard minimap
Pure, your HP bar/hostile target/friendly target displayed in very clear manner(will look funky with partyframe when first installed but can easily be configured to only show you/target/friendly with /pure)
TargetRing, a ring on your target

Re: An intricate question about addons.
I wrote this guide back when WAR was still a healthy game, I've been told it's still useful. It deals with optimising the game for performance which might come handy in your case, as it has a section on addons. Links might be dead but the above mentioned addon depository will help on that front. Good luck!
