Capital City Siege etc

What I didnt like on live after a while, was that the ccs felt redundant after a while

If one side really wins a ccs it should feel more Special

First one side must conquer the secondary capital Citys ( dwarfs,elves ) ( I am dreaming here :D ) - and lock everything before they can advance to Altdorf/IVC

If and when ccs are implemented again it should not be someting that happens 1-2 times a day ( on my old Server ) but something that really has an Impact and can only happen once a month ?

Perhaps a BIG Special statue on the market-place/Apex for the side that won the ccs last, then can be retaken when it won by the other side ?

Something than has an Impact in the lore across the whole game ?

I like the idea of statue thing and would really like to see it,apart from standard rewards ofc.
Disagree with ccs attack rate though.

What I would like to see in City Sieges that it is not possible to queue for empty cities. If you leave a city you can't join any other one. Just fight till the end!

Agreed :P

EDIT: dont get me wrong, city sieges are a long way down the road, dont expect them anytime soon

Hm Elven Capital might be dificult as there are no data for it, as far as I am informed, or am I wrong there? ( would be the one time, that would be great, or happening.^^)

When the game came out City siege did not happen till after players had gained some Warlord (right before LoTD came out) and could get past the Fortress Lords. At the most we had a city sige once a week, maybe twice.

In order to get them done during prime time U.S. people would cut work or class to form wb's and attack multiple zones simultaneously, so that when prime time came around, all you need do was lock 2 pairings, and the Fortress fight. IFFFF ... we won the fortress fight then we had city.

Then things became easy, became lazy. Two pairings and bam, city was open. Not only that but portals were made from WC's to city gates because people were complaining of getting ganked.

When city's come back, I would love the former and not the latter. City should be hard. REAL hard to get to. Fortresses and Fortress Lords should come back, either in original format, or even the format Mythic had set up before the end with Champions protections magical items in fortresses, that gave realm wide bonuses. (those were good too BTW and maybe should also be implemented).

King Kills were talked about for days and weeks. not forgotten because it happened 5 to 10 times a day.

Agree city sieges happened too often in the end of war before banner lords in keeps, and it was always the same premade vs pug raids aswell so the defenders always won i recall.
