Re: North American 6v6 Night
Previous poll showed that Sunday is the best day, why suddenly only wednesday and friday appear?
Re: North American 6v6 Night
True, missin some key players here atm. But I'd try n be there for Fridays at least, maybe we can force Fluffy into playin his slayer. Or TK shows up out of nowhere.Eathisword wrote:Yeah... I somehow doubt DoE and friends can put up a group NA time. Its mostly me, sometimes Mkatew. I'd be happy to sub any guild that needs it though. I can IB/WP or RP on order, and if i stop slacking, I could dok or BG on destro.blakokami wrote: Guilds I would like to see participate (again, no pressure but these are the guilds I've seen more or less for months during NA times)
Legion of Boom
Old School
Dragons of Eternity + Friends
Train Wreck
Shadows of Divinity
The Damned
Exodus/Ginyu Force + friends
Black Library/Cut + friends
Fusion/Praedonius
DROW
Would be fun if it wasn't in CW though. I'd like to watch 6v6. It would feel more like an event. More convivial.

Not part of any of those guilds but sign me up if anyone needs a healer here or there

Re: North American 6v6 Night
well maybe we can talk about locations and try to get a GM to be available for it, port us all to a fancy place and add a spectator area ;p
Re: North American 6v6 Night
Having EU night & NA night separate would be better no? peeps could crossover and play both, it'd be hard for any crossover peeps to show up to both on the same night and there might be overlap which wouldn't be good if we differ on rules and i think me and Gerv already have different ideas on that.Kazekiri wrote:Previous poll showed that Sunday is the best day, why suddenly only wednesday and friday appear?

So glad yet another one of my ideas is working, this one breaks a string of horrendous failures.

Re: North American 6v6 Night
I was under the impression this would be an organized CW queue, we can do a battle out in an unused area though! That'd be awesome!
And I agree Ski. Standing right in front of the enemy gives quite a few classes a nice starting set. It also screws over others, but what it really does it let everyone start the same. Which is its intention. Same with Duels. You start 70-100 feet away, /bow or type R and then you start. As your not supposed to use health pots, but unless it's agreed on prior, then there are no rules imo...
@jaycub, I wasn't in that SC where the issue was. But honestly? If your in an SC, how can you say that you "didn't even know the fight had started"? Your in an SC... And that long con, of shooting to the outside and flanking is a well used strat that a lot of groups use in CW. Yea, it sucks if you had a prior arrangement with Auzzie. But honestly, that's the first I have heard of any arrangement prior to the "complaints", again though, I wasn't in that fight, so if that's what happened then I apologize on behalf of all the Chuckle-****... I just ask that you realize that no, the rules you put forth are not actually "standard". I think they are a good set of rules however.
Looking forward to this.

Right, good idea.Penril wrote:I prefer having 6v6s in uncontested zones.
Gerv, my EU sunday night events will be held in locked rvr lakes.
If the zone unlocks the fight can just move to another locked zone.
Question: How to decide where to play on an event night needs a system, any good ideas anyone?
I imagine it will require someone just taking charge, warband style, i guess 4 groups of 6ers could just join a wb, that would more greatly randomise who gets drops and lessen individual renown gains though, few would wanna tolerate that, i think a staff member would have to be involved to ensure destro and order both know where to go.
I'm thinking a default rvr lake is needed for each tier, central zones in T4 are best avoided, least likely to be locked.
Gerv is your NA night T4 only?

Re: North American 6v6 Night
West Praag, or the zone to Left of TM could work also. That one next to TM has a bunch of places that look decent for a fight. Dunno about a large enough gap of mobs though... But yea. Fighting on a hill/clearing is OK, but definitely helps ranged groups a bit. I'll go running around d tonight and take a look at a few spots... Unless someone already has a fab spot?
