1) Cheating can be done. A simple modification to net-code will allow him to avoid huge amount of damage while able to output high dmg as well.
Err, what?

All of the stat change, cooldown and damage calculation code is serverside. This sounds like bs.

Anyhow, didn't mean to start arguments.

1) WAaaghaa, since it seemed like a normal battle at first, just didn't bother with the screen shot.
1a) remember, at the end, we were waved over and destroyed in short order.

2) Azarael, thank you for your time and effort putting this game back online. I'm sure it seems thankless a lot of the time, so thanks.

3) BrockRiefenstahl. Is that the English language you are using? Nothing seemed remotely like a comprehensible sentence.

This!

Otherwise half of the server would run rampage, with various cheats/hacks/bots (no I dont mean your shitty AHK scripts). In every MMO (WoW/Skyforge etc.) the important stuff is serversided. There are some options to cheat through this:

Hack into the Server (Highly illegal and you can get into jail for doing so)
Kidnap one of the employes (Again Highly non recommended --> Jail)
Smaller gaps are in every game (for tricky hackers, that find ways to bypass some of the security measurements)
Only the most skilled Hackers are able to bypass/inject some code, but on the otherside: A skilled enough hacker barely gives a daym about some online game hacking. He can simply hack some account$ and do whatever he wants...

Therefore I hardly doubt, that you stumbled upon a real"Cheater/Hacker" who spent hours for making some hacks only to feel good and "pawn some noobs"... Thats jm2C. But dont believe single "hacker" individuals would spend THAT much effort to hack some online games. Especially such small private servers.

Edit: Why I wrote this:

I got accused 2 times myself for cheating. 1 Time someone called a GM because "I was lagging" 1 time I had the bug where I am on a mount but I have normal running animation. (I had this again yesterday when i turned on my Aura there is some bug) As long as someone is not teleporting around, as long I do not believe this player is cheating.

Unfortunately, you will find some players will farm gear on high level toons, only to send them to lowered level toons, to take advantage of the stat bolstering system in order to gain an edge.
Its unfair, and quite cheesy in my opinion. It also does nothing but discourage new players who are not understanding what is happening.

Just try to not get discouraged by those seeking an unfair advantage. As you gain levels and renown, the playing field levels out.

Eh, I get that higher level toons will outfit lower level toons with good gear, that's not a problem.

This guy was level 3. Literally 9 levels lower, and indestructible. Just not possible except through 'overbalance' programming, and I'm ok with that, as long as there is no cheating. But since I posted this, apparently a vast number of people are building these little damage soaks on purpose, just showing that the lowest common denominator will always find an advantage and tell those who feel it's obviously unfair, that they need to "Learn to Play".

I say learn not to exploit, assholes.

I've definitely seen an influx of low lvl RP's in t1... Last night there were 3 of them and a slayer just standing on the rock outside the warcamp taunting enemies.

Meh
Orrud -> Hirn -> Norn -> Marty'r Square

That's just grief-ing new players as far as I'm concerned.

Especially 3 in one location? NOT a coincidence.

Okay, I think it is safe to say that this thread has run it's course.

There is likely no "Cheating" involved, more like a person with extra time and farmed items making low lvl twinks taking advantage of the Bolster system.
