WL or SW ?

I have a Shadow Warrior 11 lvl and he is a really great cultivator.

WL is a beast in terms of "Commando tactics" if you solo/smallman and a very good DPS asset in structured GvG fights.
In order for pet to be effective IMHO you need LoyalPet addon and pet to be on passive.
Until now I don't have any particular issues with it (pet), apart from that strange disappear of pet when you change area or something.

Overall I wouldn't change to SW (but that's just me) since WL can literally stand against all odds (I see you Pounce) and can kill Unguarded/Unhealed casters in 3 GCDs

Killing casters in 3 GCD, wich mean they used like 7-8 abilites, working as intended, have a good day

few levels up on both characters and still can't decide. Biggest wl cons are bugged pet and survi imo. Shadow Warrior cons is low dmg output.

Which is one of the largest issues with "finding the right class". You shouldn't judge them at all until at least rank 30 imo. Lack of tactics, abilities, and mastery points means you honestly have no idea how the class actually plays until then... I have a few guildiea with this issue. Was actually thinking about just letting them login to my acct and play one of my numerous Alts to try them out at "endgame"...

WL survival is actually really high compared to other MDPS simply because of pounce. You can get In and out quickly and efficiently. Ofc this requires timing and game knowledge. Not to mention the appropriate ranks...

SW is ranged, so it its damage per hot might be lower, depending on spec and timing, but your utility and target selection is much higher...

End of the day, keep up with both. It's nice to switch from Marlee train to Ranged depending on your mood or current opposition.

Did you use the loyalpet addon? It helps a great deal. It doesnt solve all problems, but it at least helps to make wl playable.

I don't have problems with pet control (attacking, target selecting etc) but pet very often disapear thats the main problem.

Well don't know how this is with SW vs Shaman, but I very well know how this is with SH vs AM. The biggest problem for me as AM is when SH silenced me making unusable to use weapon and spells for 5 seconds. Then usually I die. As main personally I will choose WL because if you play solo it's much better than SW is. You don't must care about enemy rdps and you don't afraid to meet someone solo in SC or RVR.

Lol This thread is funny about SW. with their range knockdown in their Self punt me as a MDPS. I might as well sit on the ground and wait to die.

You are joking .... Destro have a ranged KD too and the SW self punt is broken by the devs so it does not work. If you die to an SW 1v1 change classes .... hehehe
