Dok healer!
I have a question! I have a Dok that is currently level 28. I made her into a healer. Can someone explain to me the ups and downs I should know? I would like to know what healing spells are the best, and which ones might not be the best. My user is Mansonitmnyd XD

Re: Dok healer!
Hey there!
I'm fairly new to DoK (hit r40 a few weeks ago), but I've tried to do my research. A good build when going solo into scenarios and RvR at r40 is:

Basically, you want to go into Path of Torture to get the AOE Detaunt, and then spend the rest of the points in Dark Rites. Khaine's Vigor (Group HoT) and Soul Shielding (Group Shield) are the two most important you want to pick up. Efficient Patching is an amazing Tactic, and you should also prioritize this. Khaine's Bounty is a nice tactic for survivability at low renown ranks/gear.
For healing, you want to keep Khaine's Vigor up at all times since it has 10s duration and cooldown. Save Soul Shielding for when you a situation where you need a few seconds to replenish Soul Essence.
Obviously, Khaine's Embrace is going to be the bread and butter. If there is a lot of damage you'll also be using Blood Offering on cooldown. If you're in a pinch for Soul Essence, use Essence Lash on the from line (as long as you're sure you're not breaking any crucial staggers) which can make a lot of Soul Essence really quick.
Anywho, maybe someone can expand or correct anything I've gotten wrong if they've more experience.

Re: Dok healer!
Healer DoK is a backbone of every party in RoR bacause of 3 things:
1. AOE heal (obvious one, Khaine`s Vigor always up, use Khaine`s Embrace whenever you need, single target heal - Soul Infusion->Restore Essence->Khaine`s Invigoration - expensive use it wisely)
2. AOE cleanse - Patch Wounds with sloted tactic Efficient Patching - every use of cleanse removes 1 debuff of every member of your party. Spam it like hell. Its always better to remove dot of your party than try overheal it.
3. Quite tanky if properly speced - DoK got advantage of high armor values (with extra armor talis sloted in armor/jewel/weapon), decent parry and AOE detaunt.
If you understand that 3 points you will become very wanted in evey premade party/WB and popular.
Dont forget also about good positioning, learn to read battlefield. Dont stand in one place and spam AOE:)
About gearing, our top armor set is full Annihilator, but its very hard to get. After entering T4 get Ruin set and epic t4 weapon set. It may take some time but its a must.

Thanks for the info! I will try it out. But I have one question. Which Aoe buff should I keep up out of these three?
1.Covetant of Vitality
2.Covetant of Tenacity
3.Covetant of Celerity
Re: Dok healer!
Both tenacity and celerity are very good. Having said that, one can simply use an armor pot instead of the covenant of tenacity (armor doesn't stack). Celerity is very good because of the chance to reduce the opponent's run speed, which can be a pain in pvp.
So, covenant of celerity is best, assuming your party runs with armor pots. It is like having both tenacity and celerity activated.
