Hi.
First things first, I have to tell you that I have a SH level 40 AND a SW level 29, so my point of view is not biaised for any side.
Today I took part of a keep defence in T3, with my SW.
The battle was harsh for both sides, and of course in this battles RDPS love to kill eachother from afar.
No problem in that, playing as a RDPS in a keep defence is really funny (at least to me).
And then I got killed from nowhere, several times, until I realized what killed me.
I know there is some other threads about squigs being broken, but I don't think these thread authors even play SH...
So, what is wrong with the squigs pets?
Well, only one thing to me:
The fact that the ranged squigs (gas and spiked) can hit through walls.
The SH doesn't hit as hard as a SW, and honestly the damage output and range of the squigs are fine to compensate this.
Several times I've done 1VS1 with my SW against a SH.
Sometimes I killed the SH first, and sometimes he killed me first.
But in any case, we BOTH died everytime a few seconds after due to DoTs.
Meaning: the damage are pretty much the same for both classes.
But squigs shouldn't hit through walls.
This bug really unbalance the game for SW (and for any other classes really).
I know I know, this bug also applies to WL pet...But just like the horned squig, these pets are melee based, and are easily killed because they don't hit you at 100 feets range.
I hope the devs are working on it, because it's really unfair for order RDPS right now, and it should be a priority to fix this.
Also, SH players shouldn't use this bug. This is called a game exploit and should be punished.
Maybe the devs should warn SH players to not use the ranged squigs attacks for a player that the SH can't see, and apply punishment if evidences of this exploit are brought.
As a SH player I'm not approving this, so I'm not gonna play this class until it's fixed, out of respect for other players and this awesome community.
Thanks for reading.
SH Squigs need a fix ASAP.

Your arguments are invalid especially in "SH using exploit".

You're right, we should let SH players use this bug. The game is not unbalanced enough.Haojin wrote:Thanks for posting.

People use this bug to win. It's an exploit.

You're right, the game is alpha. Problem solved, everything is fine. Delete this thread pls.

Re: SH Squigs need a fix ASAP.
This is clearly exploit and should be punished.
Still gotta laugh though about how OP complains about SH when he also plays a SW with the mother*********
gamebreaking ranged knockdown ...
