[launcher error]First ever post - solved

Hey, so I signed up and downloaded the client a few weeks ago so it's safe to say i'm very new here, and with the whole DDOs thing it's only recently i've actually been able to click on the connect button on the launcher. I've noticed I get an error message whenever I do, it's this:

Error starting: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Users\Ryan\Desktop\Warhammer\WAR.exe' is denied.

I'm not sure if i've **** something when downloading or whatever, but i've scoured the forums and I tried a few things and so far nothing has worked. Any help would be appreciated, no matter how condescending it happens to be if the solution is simple.

richt click your folder >properties > uncheck read only. also try to launch the game as admin

I actually **** facepalmed at how simple that was, Jesus **** christ. I hate myself for not thinking of that, thank you so much.
