Seeing Warhammer everywhere.

So since the server's been down, I've been dabbling in WoW and looking at the new Legion stuff. And appearantly, there's a new spec for rogue's called "Outlaw" that wields a pistol. Still uses two swords, but combined with pistol slows and pistol finishers, and normal combo points... sound familiar?

Not only that but the new Tier 19 armor for Priests even Sigmar would approve. With armor plates and wax seals hanging from them, with a back mounted crest that holds even more wax seals and red candles. The resemblance is uncanny, just transmogrify a good hammer and book, and bam.

I wonder if GW knows how similar they are to their property. Wouldn't be the first time Blizzard took things from GW, but still. It is nice tho, play some semblance of Warhammer characters in another game while the server gets upgraded.

I played mods for Mount & Blade and Crusader Kings 2. Obviously Warhammer thematic.

I been playing WoW too while the server is down. I just try to make my Death Knight and Warrior look like a Chosen/Ironbreaker, respectively. WAR's aesthetic was so much better than WoW's, but some of the WotLK sets are decent.

Yeah, that too. Gets even better with mods. Got the Chaos Divided one, gives more units to Warriors of Chaos. It's pretty fun. Dwarf campaign in general is a lot of fun. Screw cavalry, all I need are Ironbreakers and organ guns.

You weren't kidding. Honestly, I'm not surprised either. WoW has stolen from every mmo out there.

That said- I'm currently playing vanilla myself- but can't go past that as the current game has some of the most hideous gear out there. They've also gutted all their classes and replaced a lot the animations with something even worse....

My computer can't handle TW: Warhammer and I don't quite have the budget to upgrade, sooo I've been playing the Call of Warhammer mod for Medieval 2. It hasn't helped much in terms of tempering my anticipation to play RoR, haha.

That said though, I haven't had a chance to play TW: Warhammer but considering that all big Triple A games now are 60-70 bucks plus adding every other faction as a DLC released over a couple of years... I like playing something that straight up does its best to be as comprehensive as possible. Fans are awesome like that. The modders for CoW didn't think "Well we don't have to put Lizardmen in, maybe we'll do a DLC later for more money."

I'm not complaining about the way things are (well a little I guess) but it's nice to have options.

The Rogue build looks much more like gangplank from League. Look at the Q and R ability.
