Help! Buy it or not?

I have been looking at a New PC, thinking along the lines of an Al IN ONE, for the clean look to fit my media room....Any how i found this on Amazon:

HP ENVY 34 CURVED Desktop 1TB SSD 32GB RAM (Intel Core i7-6700K processor - 4.00GHz with TURBO BOOST to 4.20GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD drive, 34" WQHD LED (3440x1440), Win 10) PC Computer All-in-One

I was curious if this RoR would be playable at 3440x1440 on this big @$$ screen, thanks for any input!

Just had a quick check on the GPU on this. here is a link on a breakdown and the recommended highest resolution to use.

Its a nice machine if you want to do media editing, but gaming I couldnt say so.

This site is still updated and has good information I think

http://www.logicalincrements.com/

Even if you are buying prebuilt you can see where the parts fall into, make sure if you are spending over a thousand dollars which it seems like you are OP, that you are getting your moneys worth and they aren't giving you a shitty GPU etc...

Just looked it up on Amazon, its NOT a gaming pc, has a very cheap low end graphics card for the price of the system. Would need a 980GTX or 1080GTX to run games smoothly at those resolutions.

Much better pc's out there for the money.

Sorry mate

If you want all in one and gaming maybe take a look at this. Its around the same price as the HP if not some less. Only issue is it 1080p and not 4k. This has either 970m or 980m depending for the GPU

since reading the forums well.... noone is able to guarantee you that...
well if the monitor can go so high on resolution, then you will able to run it on that resolution.. BUT

RoR game engine isn't the best around... so well.... you understand that no guarantees how the game will work on these resolutions at all.

the Emu Server also has a lot of bugs etc.... i don't know even on these resolutions how the game will work... as far i have understood devs are running many things on server instead of client... i don't know if the computer is stressed how well will the game run...
