server is unstable (also due to ddos) we are working on it. No ETA as always.

Since the server is under a DDoS attack, there is not ETA to be announced and only useless assumptions can be made. This is not a game/server issue that people are working on and can estimate its completion, it is a disproportionate ongoing demand for server resources(bandwidth) that it cannot be handled. As another person mentioned in another thread earlier, patience is what is needed mostly atm. The developers have announced that they can still develop the game with the server offline to the rest of us therefore the overall project is still moving and soon as they can get it online, they will as always.

Threads about it most likely do more harm than help and it is up to each one of you to realize why, since it is unlikely that there is any financial, political or any other serious reason fueling the one's responsible enthusiasm.

Do something else till the server is up again, only to go down later. Those that like this game will have to live with its current condition since any idiot with enough pocket money or the ability to download a guide is able to DDoS small servers in our age and time.

Noble white knighting sir, but if you've been working in security IT for any length of time this situation is literally hilarious to watch unfold. just a form of population control :P

Seriously. It's a DDoS. We have said this many many many many many many many many many many many times. You know that a DDoS costs significantly more to mitigate than it does to execute. You know that when the attack begins or ends is not something that I can predict. You know that our financial situation is weak because we cannot take in any money related to the project. You also know that me telling you anything about our current internal situation and plans does nothing other than satisfy your curiosity, and will not in and of itself solve the problem, so I have no motivation to type out the same thing over and over again just to sate that curiosity.

What exactly do you want from me? Because if you're looking for someone to predict the future, you're going to have to look elsewhere, just like the people who post "ETA? ETA? ETA? ETA? Any ETA lol?" whenever the server has a technical problem that we have to fix. If you're not getting an ETA? It's because it's not possible to provide an ETA. This is the case with almost every single problem we ever have on this server, because they do not arise as the result of predictable events. They arise as the result of attacks, or unexpected code / DB issues.
