New to Warhammer looking for a class!

Hello everyone! I'm new to Warhammer as you read and my friend told me that this game was awesome when he played it back in the day. He told me of the huge faction wars and it hooked me. Now I have always been a melee player, but leaned over to the tankier side, but I still like to do a good amount of damage. I was just wondering what class would best suit me in this game! Thanks

A 2H tank or Mara/Slayer, depending whether you're focused on survival or damage. Mara/Slayer are just the two most survivable MDps classes

Hey man welcome to RoR! A marauder is a fine choice to go for a melee dps, that can easily go solo but also very much needed in groups due to pull ability. It needs some stance dance but nothing that cant be learned! Also our guild <Path of Wreckage> would be happy to have new players willing to do strategic rvr instead of pug,if you're interested ofc.

Wow Thanks for the fast replies! I happy that I will be able to enjoy this game.. I played WoW way before ( still do ) but I never touched this game and when my friend explained how it played I regret not playing it in the past! But I will try out Marauder first and feel out the other classes later
