This is what the spell should do :
Heals target for xxx life over 9 seconds, and will then bounce to nad heal other allies within 30 feet of the previous target.
Effect will not hit the same target more than once, and will heal up to 6 people.
What it really does :
Aoe hot around your target for xxx over 9 seconds, no bounce.
Is this a bug, or was an intended change at some point?
All the threads I could find on the forums report this spell to work properly.

Re: [RP] Rune of Serenity isn't like on live
The bounce is, afaik, the aoe hot effect. HoTs the target, then seeks the x nearest allies and HoTs them.
Re: [RP] Rune of Serenity isn't like on live
It does not bounce. The aoe effect is right away when you cast the spell, and it can go on many targets at the same time, for one cast.
It's supposed to bounce AFTER 9 seconds, thus allowing you to have multiple rolling hots up.

Re: [RP] Rune of Serenity isn't like on live
It works as I remember it on AoR, i.e. like an aoe hot. There's prob a vid out there somewhere showing it, I'll have a look.
Jumping to one other target after 9s would make it pretty much worthless.
Edit: Oldish vid but you can see RoS appearing simultaneously in multiple allies' buffhead - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9rX7WJR1-Y
Edit 2: Forgot the time! It's at ~3:10.

Assume you're just basing this on the tooltip?Tomaka wrote:It's supposed to bounce AFTER 9 seconds, thus allowing you to have multiple rolling hots up.

Works as intended. Please be sure before stating outright in your topic title that something is not as it was on live. Thank you.

Re: [RP] Rune of Serenity isn't like on live
I read your link.
It says :"with the RP it works like the tooltip says, jumps to the next in range after the 9s".
This is not the case right now.
I've never played Zealot so I can't comment if it jumped to 6 targets right away on live for them.
PS : sorry, just changed the topic title, but I stand by what I said, it is not like on live.

Re: [RP] Rune of Serenity
The bounce effect were removed long time ago.
I think it was around 1.3.6 patch

Re: [RP] Rune of Serenity
I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but all my research on RoR forums support the tooltip way and not how it is right now.

It is not working as described on that link. I remember it working properly on RoR last year.
